Positions Available
Now hiring for two aftercare positions to provide one to one support for a student. There is one position at NJ MacPherson and one position at Range Lake North School. Both are Monday to Friday 3:15-5:30.
The successful applicant must have early learning and childcare experience and have at minimum the NWT Essentials Course.
1:1 support refers to a situation where teaching assistant, or educator is assigned to work exclusively with one participant or child. This will allow the child/children to receive maximum flexibility and personalized attention for activities, participation and skill development. It will provide personalized guidance with opportunities for independence which will help ensure the child develops confidence and resilience while receiving the necessary support.
